From Journalism to the
Forefront of Digital marketing
I'm on a mission to help businesses thrive in the digital world through authentic storytelling and impactful content.
As a seasoned Digital Marketing leader, I've seen firsthand how crafting genuine brand narratives and delivering valuable, memorable digital experiences can skyrocket online success. My journey has taken me from investigative journalism to the cutting edge of digital marketing. This unique path has equipped me with a blend of storytelling prowess and technical expertise.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse array of companies, from scrappy startups to Fortune 500 giants. I've built Organic Marketing operations for mission-driven hyper-growth startups like Plaid, Square, and Opendoor from zero to scale. Additionally, I've expanded international marketing programs for household names like Amazon, Viacom, and Scripps, helping them to grow their global footprint.
My secret sauce? A knack for translating complex ideas into compelling content, coupled with a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem. Whether it's web, social, or mobile, I know how to make a brand shine across all platforms.
My passion for crafting brand narratives and storytelling has its roots in my professional background in journalism. As a U.S. West Coast correspondent for Financial Times, I contributed numerous articles about news and trends in information technology, new media, and e-commerce, including interviews with Jeff Bezos, Roy Disney, and Francis Ford Coppola.
After having lived in Los Angeles, Zurich (Switzerland), Seattle, and San Francisco, my wife and I found our forever home in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. When I'm not helping businesses navigate the digital landscape, you can find me exploring the city, strolling on the beach, or adventuring in Santa Barbara wine country. We also enjoy cooking, discovering new wines and books, watching indie movies, traveling, and photography.
I live by the words of American poet and novelist Jack Kerouac: "Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry."
